If you’ve been working with me for a while, one thing that you might see in your email each year is a Home Equity Checkup. This is a quick email letting you know what’s been selling in your neighbourhood, along with a quick video opinion of the value of your home.

 

Even if you’re not planning to sell, understanding your home’s current market value and the equity you’ve built can be incredibly useful. I can provide a detailed analysis of your property’s value and discuss how different improvements might increase it over time.

Beware when it comes to advice on basements, however. I am known to have a soft spot for tacky 1970’s basement bars. Shag carpet, quilted leatherette bar and wood paneling? Count me in, good taste be damned!
